peace... i try to make my own peace... until my own mind gets in the way. riding up the mountain up to Lake Lure for the day, or week, or.... an 8 year old boy with lots of swagga, laying in my lap.. unbelievable peace. my writing, even the dark ones give me peace. having the house to myself, and surrounding myself with loud music. the company of someone exquisite... beyond peaceful. the love of my best friend and sistah gives me unconditional peace. i find peace when i fly... then drop deep.

listening to horses eat their evening meal
