If you really knew me though you know that I don't call off very often from work. Takes a lot. Today would have been one of them days because my girl, family, and memories means a lot to me. My best friend and I got arrested when we were in the 8th grade for shop lifting at a drug store. We got booked at the Honolulu police station. I even have a mug shot and my finger prints on file.

I helped my mother take care of my dying father when I was 16. The whole ordeal was one of the most amazing and holy experiences I have ever had. Looking back at it now I am so pleased that I did it.

I knew I was going to marry my husband the first time I laid eyes on him. We've been glued to the hip ever since. Yes, it really is a sappy romcom!

I almost cut my left thumb off when I was 15. I fell off a chair and sliced it on a glass wall shade that I was trying to replace the light blub to. It still feels funny if I do anything to it.

My pinkies are bent inward. I have always found them rather cute!

uhhhh I hit on all my female friends when I was a kid. Yes, I started young!

I retaliate when it comes to war of words especially when sarcasm or humour is involved...and I can be really good at it.

I'm always late unless it's for work or an appointment.

If there's food involved, I probably won't like it.

I'm loyal to a fault, but I'm learning who deserves it and who doesn't.

And something I'm just learning about myself that was pointed out to me (by someone who knows me better than I know myself)...my personality changes with whomever I'm communicating with. Makes things a little more clear on why I have social anxiety.

Why I am so insistant on my independance and being able to do things myself unless I ask for help or sometimes when offered.

My passion really does come from what I do for a living

Self care time is my sacred quiet time - I only allow selective interruptions

Coffee really is essential for me making it through the day without being grumpy - most days anyway

Reality tv inspires me to have fun with life
