Asking a close friend to pick up a new dog collar for my new rescued mutt, and finding a perfect sized container of Nutter Butter mini cookies in the bag (made me smile after a very long, heavy chore-filled day, and I enjoyed them for a midnight snack)
Someone offering to make my breakfast Getting treated to a wonderful early dinner at one of my favorite places this past Saturday. Teamwork to get chores done (that makes me feel good because I don't feel like I'm the only one stuck doing the hard, physically tasking chores) At almost midnight; walking down to the dock on a crisp, clear night -with no wind and not a cloud in the sky- to find the moon and stars reflecting on the gentle ripples of the lake...and the ONLY sound is fish sometimes breaking the surface of the nearly ice cold water. I've been to this lake many times, but never have I found it this serene and breathtakingly beautiful.
