Cakewalk
.....That was a piece of cake....
Whether it's the proverbial cakewalk or the aforementioned piece of cake, the implied meaning was that someone easily completed any type of task with relative ease. There's no mention if one's efforts are mistake free. It simply means that something was easily accomplished. Sidebar notes: Creating a decadent cake is NO easy task.
