Getting To Know Her
Something inside me she does stir Would like to get to know her for sure The playful nature I do see Is something that will always be Her honest eyes and knockout smile In pictures I can stare at for a while Would I ever have a chance Would I get more than a glance Turn your head and look my way I'm the kind to never stray The words come easy with my pen From my mouth who knows when Can you feel me in our written exchange I don't always project that range Certainly I want to know more Hopefully you'll allow us to explore The reason we seemed to connect And talk about it's effect If I'm wrong I'll back away And a friend is what you'll stay
