Thanks all for the very kind birthday wishes and look forward to hopefully seeing some of you in Little Rock next month (it's a bit in the balance for me as I have other travelling commitments the following two weeks so, due to work pressures, will need to make a final call on whether I can attend in mid-Sept but have already registered, booked hotel + flights).



My birthday was very quiet as it always is these days when it falls in the early part of the week. Work commitments see to that. However, I will be making it up this weekend

That would have been a fantastic gift. Alas, I didn't see this until today so missed out on the opportunity.

There's absolutely no possibility of that I'm afraid. Even if I were to find the femme of my dreams and settle down to a life of domestic bliss, I'll always be a curmudgeonous spinster at heart. It's my title and I get even more curmudgeonous if I think someone is challenging me for it !!!
