			1. The pungent bite of the horseradish root and turmeric roots to my nostrils as I peel and slice them while preparing this year's batch of Fire Cider. 2. Knowing that I always have the love of my dear friends surrounding me. 3. The unmistakable bond that my sweet Sadie and I share. The two of us share a language and an understanding that is unshakable. I love my pup! 4. My walk this morning at 5:30. It was still dark and so very peaceful and quiet. It started my day out just right. This may become a habit. 5. Knowing that the LGBT community, women, & the people of all colors and cultures did not fight to come this far only to be beat back down by the likes of Trump and his cohorts. A knowing that we will be okay and somehow come out of this even stronger.
