what i try to do is scrape the heck out of my feet with the callus rasp and then pumice the heck out of them and then use the pumice scrub before i go so that there is nothing for them to do when i get there. Then they just give my feet a perfunctory once-over and move on

what i don't like is when they massage my calves because i feel my hairs prickling even if i just shaved. i get embarrassed.

I only go about twice a year, i just cut back the growth and fill in the polish every few weeks until i want to change the color. By that time there are layers and layers of polish and paying someone else to remove it works out great for me lol

See, I'm afraid I would have an uncontrollable reflex and kick someone in the face. I just can't potentially put someone in that position. I squirm just watching other people get pedicures- screaming silently in my head "How do you do that???????"
