Koops question time!
So has anyone dealt with meeting people from their past? Where I live people know. However occasionally there are people that I grew up with or worked with in the past that have no idea that I would like to approach but 1) am not sure how to 2) sort of scared to. Right now I will hold out til i talk to dad in sept, but I am wondering how people have handled it and what the results were. not so much worried about negativity towards me .. I just don't want my parents to have to go through the gossip mills and looks at home. It's also weird because that part of me feels literally like another person so it's like I want people to know we know each other but I don't want them to remember me that way. There is one person out here that was a sophmore in high school when i was senior. We weren't like best friends but we had mutual friends and were in some of the same high school clubs and both ran long distance in track. I probably will approach her. If nothing else she seems like a good test subject. She lives in LA so for one she lives in a more liberal environment and number two she's a comic so I feel like i can approach her with a sense of humor. It's just weird though it's not like I can friend her and go hey remember me? Because without some explanation she won't |
