We call them ear-worms, and it's not just songs. Sometimes it's a word or phrase. A friend once had the name 'Alexander Solznhitzyn' (sp?) for months.
My longest, most durable ear-worm? Johnny Cash singing 'Burning Ring of Fire'. Tag. You're it.
