On this still summer night
supple tree leaves
hang serene upon
sculptured coffee colored bark

and magenta puffs of flower
ooze droplets of sweat
from the airs balmy embrace
sharing pin drop coolness
with fertile earth

the nights sultry hug
spares no one
all hunger for a soft
wind to blow through
blessed
I free float
baptized in cerulean waters
watching fireflies dance
with tree shadows
the warm pool water
becomes my sea of love
body stretching free
cares gone
heaven
