I don't know if america is all that smart but if it is when they vote they would set their favorite up to win and maybe that is what is happening.

I believe by phone it's unlimited so say you call 50 times and you have 2 favorites .... do 20 for each then 10 for jacob ... if you can bring jacob with you as long as you can it would insure yours of winning.

sort of like on survivor with them trying to bring to the finals the person they know others won't vote for
