We have Verizon but we're on a family plan so I'm not much help on this one. You could probably do it for under 80 depending on how many minutes you need and how much texting you do. Keep in mind though, that texting to another iPhone is free so if a lot of your textees are iPhone users you can get by with a minimal texting plan. I have the pandora app on my iPhone that I only use at home. That way I'm connecting to my network rather than Verizon's and I don't eat at my data plan. A really cool app, especially if your not particularly good with music *coughArwencough* is Shazam. You can "tag" songs on the radio to find out the name of the song and the artist. It'll also give you the option to buy the song (from iTunes, of course). Another app that I really like, and have had since my 3G, is called Around Me. It's basically a locator app and if you have it set to use your current location you can search for things near you (either by name or category), wherever you are. I hadn't used it a whole lot since since I got the 4S, but when Siri took a couple hours off the other day, I was glad I still had it. |
