Even when you insist on paying your own way ...being treated to your favorite latter and later in the evening your favorite hot apple cider when they saw you were chilled from sitting outside with everyone. It was a nice treat indeed ...and for some strange reason, it feels good to have doors opened for me and being escorted to my car in a dark parking lot.
