A quick intro:

I'm just a simple girl with simple desires in life. Within the past year, I've "come out", but, honestly, I feel that's not the correct term to describe this momentous life event that has caused me to flourish. I'd describe it more as an act of self-discovery more than anything else. This may be TMI, but I must share.

I've always been extremely attracted to masculine-in-appearance women (or what our society dictates as being "masculine"), but formerly blew it off would tell myself, "It's because she looks like a guy". How wrong I was! My first experience with a butch ROCKED MY WORLD (emotionally and physically). The energy given off from a handsome, confident butch is like no other. You all inspire me to be more effeminate. You bring out the femininity in me unlike any man has ever done in the past. I wish I had known this earlier on in life (I'm now 37), but, hey, I know now and there's no turning back! I feel like a kid again entering the dating scene (both cringing and flustered at the same time), excited at what, and more importantly, "who" the future has in store for me.

Can't wait to make new friends and meet new folks. You all seem like a warm and welcoming community.
