I dont think any song ever got me through a break up. God, if it was just that easy !
But if I hear a song that played during a relationship break-up it sometimes reminds me of the struggle, or relief, or pain, or sheer and utter frustration, or whatever emotion was marking the moment of the day (or the hour or the minute)... And there was always a delicate balance between songs that would push me out of that "pit of despair" and songs that would drag me back into it... Treat yourself gently, honor the pain and play whatever the hell you feel like playing to get through it! Death Metal is always good ![]() |
