Me and the girl were talking today on Skype and she is CONVINCED that the web cam makes her more attractive

She tells me that the camera is set up with a special lens to make it appear to the other person to be MORE attractive than they really are. I think this isn't true and that we actually get to see the person as who they are without the glamour shots or the air brushing. I think what you see is really what u get. I can see there are 2 schools of thought here and really would like some input as to what others think of Skype or any other form of video chatting. So my questions are: Is it a viable form of communication? Is it a true representation of the people who are being shown? Do you think you can use Skype or any other form of video chatting to build a foundation of friendship that could lead to more? We both would love to hear for others who have used this form of communication in their relationships the good the bad and the ugly. If you used Skype prior to meeting were you surprised by what you found waiting or did you get what you thought you would be getting
