Love to hike year round here! I agree that forests kick ass!
I used to mountain bike on the trails, then 7 years ago I got  , and feel bad leaving him at home. So, I traded my biking shoes for hiking shoes. I often miss riding, but I feel too guilty leaving my guy at home!He is a Jack Russell, so he has lots of spunk and can last for miles and miles. The area I live has many, many trails with a significant amount of parkland.
