I love boots. They always make me feel more confident when I walk in them. I also live in a cold, snowy climate which makes them necessary, so that may play a part. Still, a butch will have to pry my Harley Davidson riding boots from my cold, painted fingers before I'll give them up.
 You absolutely can be a boot and converse wearing femme and boo to anyone who would make you feel otherwise:
