Okay. Here is a little *list* introduction. If I wait to pen the "appropriate or thorough", I'll keep putting it off and something will come up and I'll wander away and it will never get accomplished.
PLEASE, if you want to know something about me don't hesitate to ask.

Have joined this group to participate in a 'community' of people who, as a rule, are not easily found in Nebraska.
Am not relationship hunting ((or trolling in general))
* I need a ' NOT A TROLL' sign, lol

Being a "Loner" / Introvert who sometimes gets lonely, I love the online world for all it's diversity and offerings of forums and media sources. But not being a 'straight' woman ( of my age, lol ) it can feel a little like a part of 'tribe' is missing. So , ( kinda on a whim, I'll admit ) I looked for a group here. I also joined a facebook group but there doesn't seem to be much activity there.

It's been my experience FB and Twitter has pretty much killed the forums....
( remember. I'm Old. I come from the days of YAHOO GROUPS, lol ) but it would be nice to have a place to come online and 'chit chat' but not be bombarded with the hatred of FB in general.

( I'm pretty overwhelmed with the ugliness right now )

So: For the sake of brevity, here's a list of Grace.

Dog Lovin' ( cat can't havin' cause the dog)
Bird Watchin' ( And feedin')

Retired Social Worker
NPR Listenin'
Vegetarian ( No meat Eatin' )
Liberal Leanin'
Unitarian Universalist ( IF I have to pick one, I guess that's it )

This list could go on into infinity..( I haven't even listed my favorite desserts yet )
but I am gonna just hit POST and go get something delicious to eat and 'click' my way around the site trying to get to know some of you!
