It's pretty decent!! It doesn't strip my color nearly like some of the other shampoos I've used. I've found the trick for me is to keep my water at a cooler temp while shampooing and then use practically cold water with my conditioner. When I changed the temp of my water I started getting 2 - 3 weeks longer before my color started to fade
