Therapeutic for me means relaxing and being grounded...
Taking time alone in nature listening, observing, and just being as one with my surroundings. I am not talking a park or in the back yard. I mean the wilderness with no other people within yelling distance. I am very blessed to have grown up in that type of environment so it is very therapeutic for me. |

Great thread-I'm getting ideas.
For me: "Fiddling around"-detail cleaning the kitchen, bathrooms, even my car. The more strenuous, the better. Washing dishes by hand, even though I have a dishwasher. I think it's the feel of suds and warm water, and the definite beginning and ending of the task. Throwing things out. Today, in fact, I've been feeling unsettled for some reason and I purged a big box of papers. Listening to music and doing genealogy, even if it's just examining hints. Swimming or yoga, or running
