48 hours is the maximum time I can tolerate, as far as my own family is concerned. In some cases, 24 hours is too much, too (family).

Invited guest company, party of one, is however a whole other different story. Depending on the situation, length of stay is negotiated beforehand.

Living on my own, and having my own space, is precious. I expect this to be true for any like minded person who values their own space, in like minded ways.

As per my posts in previous threads, I do NOT enjoy company that stays with me, I'd much prefer it that they stay at a hotel and then I don't care how long they stay.

I think one secret to have a successful visit is for both parties to be off work! It's hard to entertain someone when you've got to get up early and head into work!
