I have half-siblings as well. One I met and the others I will never meet. My real father had a bunch of kids with different women all over the place.(He was in the Marines)

Same here, my brother died of AIDs and i found out after. No idea where my sister is..

My father apparently got around which is why he moved us away ...

My half-brother defected from the family. He took his wife and boys and no one has seen or heard from them since. That was eons ago, when I was young.

Holy Moly my (other ) half brother did the same thing. We have no idea where he, his wife and his baby girl are. Its been about 15 years.

Some might say that my dating pool is very small. But I'd rather be in a romantic relationship with someone who gets me, rather than having a fuck ton of people bashing down my proverbial door (I get fairly cranky when that happens).

I can definitely relate to this!
I am definitely selective with whom I share time with and date. I'm very aware of time and realize that once lost can never be given back and so I choose wisely who to invest time and energy in whether it be in a relationship or friendship.
