Just completed a 'simple' assignment on 5 wetland and 5 flowering trees, which had to be in powerpoint format. Which I've never used before. And I don't have on my PC ('cause I use Linux). Managed to work out how to use Impress and export to a PPT file, fingers crossed it works - but I've also got a PDF of it just in case. It took hours. Really wanted to be working on my bryophytes poster rather than that. This was after losing a couple of hours to trying to find out why no-one's sent me a new prescription for blood-thinners (turned out the message from the hospital to my GP had got lost in the fray. Will be collecting prescription tommorrow now)

And now I want to work on the bryophytes again - but instead, I'm going to have to have a tidy-up, landlord's coming to look at the workmen's recent handiwork tomorrow (dunno what the landlord'll make of it, but I'm not impressed).
Grrrr..
...sigh.
