As I have been in situations where my housing, food, healthcare and safety have been in jeopardy, actually in some instances, absent.
What makes me happy, today is being secure in the knowledge that my family (Partner, Che, our tuxedo cat and Calliope, a 20 lb. calico) is safe, well-fed, warm, comfortable, and happy.

Happiness this morning.....
...... sitting on the balcony, little chilly, but a wearing hoodie. Enjoying hot coffee and watching the last of the fog lift as the sun hits the tops of the rooftops. Being on the third floor I have a great view! Kitty chatter and bird watching is amusing me..lol

Happiness is … becoming a grandmother to my eldest daughter's first son. His name is Z. Bachir (Bachir is Persian for "Brings Good Tidings") and he's 13 months and 21 days old (as of today), and he has big green eyes and dark red hair. He's a cutie, for sure.

… Fine tuning my online news source subscription news feeds.
I've noticed how certain major news networks feature too many 'Captain Chaos' news stories and subsequent news stories about GOP henchmen who have controlled politics for far too long. I know that we need to stay on top of issues created by these horrible people, but I just don't want to see their ugly faces in the news on a daily basis. So I've cleared space in my web life to include only positive and relevant news source web pages.
