Us two mischievous gals snuck in to see fireworks from the best advantage point last night. My friend used to live at these condo with a beach front part. She made me turn into this driveway that was blocked with sawhorses and two men. And a police car parked on the side of the road. She rolled down her window and said, were going to 374. They let us in. That was her condo. We even parked in the driveway to 374. The new owner was not there.
I turn to her and say..do you know the lady's name? Lol She did not. We opted to leave our drinks in my car, for fear there was no bathroom to use! Lol It was awesome. Best view I've ever had for fireworks. You just never know about us! (She's my traveling friend and partner in crime!

My nephew. Oh...my nephew. 13 years old.
First: Driving to go see Rocky Horror Picture Show (his first time) we passed a tesla. He points and waves excited. I ask him what he knows about elon musk and he's like... not much. So I gave a briefing that he's racist and sexist and homophobic and transphobic and anti-woman and... he's jammed right up trump's but. He looks at me.. not missing a beat... "I thought you said he was homophobic". I just about died but I was driving, so I didn't. Then, during Rocky Horror, I go to sort of fake cover his eyes for certain scenes. He's like "Stop! This is nothing new. Don't baby me." Then he proceeded to tell me every time he farted. |

Me: Hi Mom. Do you want to go to (insert name of her favorite thrift store here) with me today? Mom: Huge exaggerated gasping "YES" followed by whispered "yes, yes yes". Me: Great! It's right next to Trader Joes so we can go there after and get some eggs and treats? Mom: Huge exaggerated gasping "YES" followed by whispered "yes, yes yes". Me: And that's right next to the discount wine shop, we can get you some Baileys? Mom: SOBBING- YES. We had fun
