Shower curtain: what a smart way to get a lot of fabric (presumably) inexpensively! Now that Jo Anne is closing all their stores, are you going to bargain hunt and stock up on supplies?

Most definitely!! I have my eye on the markdowns. I remember shopping at that store in So Cali, when it was called House of Fabrics. At times, I still refer to it like that. That was so many yards and outfits ago. Some times it was curtains and quilts.

I have bought fabrics on line but it's so hard to determine what it feels like. I have also bought garments to repurpose.However, I have lots of fabric in my Mom's stash.

- Today I have to get my battery jumped off and drive around awhile. My car has been sitting since before Christmas. The few times I have gone anywhere it has been easier to take Lyft or I rode with someone else. But now I need my car back.

- Seriously clean the kitchen.

- Cut up a pork loin into chops and freeze them and some chicken pieces. I got a good sale.

- Call Orkin and the handyman.

Spring Cleaning. I'll do a room a day (or as long as it will take). Today was the bathroom. Cleaned the shower top to bottom. Even pulled out the teak cleaner and scrubbed the seat. Will oil it later today. The bathroom was easy since everything is freshly painted.

Moving light-weight items out of the way for the painter and his son who are here to fix some separations I have going on. The tape that helps connect the ceiling to the wall is coming apart in one area. It's not unusual for this to happen by the lake. It's windy here and the homes move. I used to get the same conditions on the west coast with the Santa Ana winds. They'll fix that today.

Tomorrow I'll tackle the bedroom, I guess. Spring cleaning will be my exercise till the house is spring-time clean.

Thanking my lucky stars to have a little home to spring clean and healthy enough to do it.

I have a busy day ahead. I hope I can get some sleep before then.

- Go to the credit union.

- Stop by the produce stand.

- Dr. appointment; thankfully it's a phone appointment.

- Make a hair appointment.

- Wait (and wait and wait) for the WalMart grocery delivery, then put groceries away.

- Make something for dinner.

- Find two spring shirts I lost that I really like and need.

- Text a friend.

- Place an Amazon order.

I have a pretty packed day at work with back to back meetings. Then I'm meeting movers to get the last of my things out of storage to bring to my house and will begin putting things in order here. I took tomorrow off of work so I don't feel like I have to get it all done tonight. But I'm hosting company on Sunday so... gotta get at it!

Not such a busy Friday ahead. Again, I hope I can get some sleep before Wal-Mart comes knocking on my door unannounced..

- Make a hair appointment. (Didn't get to it yesterday.)

- I waited and waited and waited for the WalMart grocery delivery, and they never showed up. At 11 pm I gave up and turned off the outside lights and went upstairs to bed. They are supposed to come tomorrow, but now they don't have an appointment time. So I just have to wait some more. Then put groceries away.

- Find two spring shirts I lost that I really like and need. (Didn't get a round tuit.)

- Place another Amazon order.

- Deep clean the bathroom. (Yuck!)
