cuddlyfemme - welcome to the thread.

not up to much this weekend - my sister and I hung out, went to lunch. Rented Invictus - a very good movie.

enjoying the World Cup - Italy match starts soon.

D.C...Tks for the thumbs up,greatly appresheated,u do any more 5k walks?At the moment today has been touch and go in doing things..broke my glases..yikes not good,im wearing an old pair but its not the same.Have a great day.

Cuddly nice to see u hear,take it easy with the unpacking,belave it or not I still have boxes I havent unpacked from moveing hear.

lofters do take care with the hot weather,drink plenty of water & wear your sun screan.

I'm sure in a few months i'll still have some boxes not unpacked but i got the important stuff out of boxes and put away (and have left one of the empty boxes for the cats to play in)
You're right about the heat and humidity, its horrible outside

First, welcome to the Loft, cuddly! This is a great place to be with really outstanding supportive people! Please do go slowly in the heat and humidity. I know what that's like-I used to live in the MS Delta where the temp got over 100 degrees and the humidity was like someone wrapped a hot wet blanket around you! So, as a welcome to you, I'm offering (when you're in air-conditioning). This is very good tea-Wuyi Blue Rock Eight Immortals Wulong! And also some, also very good quality-Lindt "a Touch of Salt" bar, dark chocolate with a touch of French sea salt. Enjoy and take it easy!

Second, I'm writing again, Lofters! Please check out my original poetry in the POETRY section of the forums. I just put two new poems there! I am also working on a book of Reflections, right now published in my new blog: The Nameless Gate. You can find it at:

Lady Wu, thank you for the wonderful welcome along with the tea and chocolate. I'm not used to the humidity so soon since I'm not from the South...I like to call myself a Northern transplant
I can relate about the glasses. I don't want to think about how many I've either lost or broken. I wear contacts now but have to wear glasses when I read. I'm lucky that I haven't lost many contacts although, I did drop one and the cat ate it
