Burned DVRs will not play on all on all DVR players...some are DVR+ some are DVR- , some are both...and they wont play in CD players.
For people who don't have a DVD player in their computer and are not tech savvy, it might be more difficult and inaccessible.  Agreeing with Waldo that popping the CD in my car is my fav part!
