I expected Claudeine to be prettier.

I expected Claudeine to be prettier too. She's supposed to be a bombshell, all eyes turn, no one can resisit, men dropping at her feet. She's pretty in the tv version, but not sexy - more ethereal looking. Not sure how they'll play that out.

I wouldn't mind if they brought up Alexei, on HBO, we already saw Eric lose his "Pooky/Maker"...Might as well see him deal with his Vamp. Brother.

I like this season better than last season.

Except I miss Eggs.

Sookie needs to get Alcide to fix up her house, it's still tragic from last seasons parties.

All of the speculation that Lafayette is something supernatural is probably correct. Most likely it'll turn out he's a "natural" witch. That makes him a Supe, right?

BUT! Maryanne was able to control Lafayette - and Supes were supposed to be immune to her powers.

Yeah but, in the book...Eric's maker was not the nice godric from tv. He was pretty much a pedophile. So not sure how they would tie in bringing over Alexei. The whole father/brother/son dynamic from the book doesn't exist in the same way in the show.

I do however, want the Eric shower scene from the book. I want the whole Eric losing his memory plot line and what ensues.

Maybe next season.
