So here's my theory about Betty Draper Francis.
I think she's a Daddy's Girl and Don just didn't fulfill the Daddy role the way Henry (who's older and more nurturing in a way) does for her. Clearly, she is one messed up little girl, but a little girl nonetheless, which I think is why she's so hard on her own daughter. Any thoughts? BB |
