Letting you all know that have been so kindly checking on members here near the gas explosion and fires in Northern California, I am OK. Now, if you know others in the East Bay Area/SF Bay Area and have not heard from them. Do check out if they are OK. This is not a good thing, here.

...had a really full few days, am tired and feet hurt.... today, after a big picnic dinner (with my adopted-family) that included my homemade pork-n-beans (made with 5 kinds of beans) and another blueberry blackberry pie, I'm reminded that I shouldn't light a match or candle in the house... because guys FART and blame it on the poor dogs!!

Laerkin just enjoyed a girl's night out with my dearest friend. We gabbed non-stop for three hours over dinner and hard cider and it was an AWESOME end to a long, hectic week. Sometimes a little friend-time is just what the soul needs.
