Rambling fingers
Shinning blue waves
Surround me as I sleep Floating my dreams awake My eyes see nothing As my mind paints its portrait A hopeful future Floating with hope's desire I begin to swim onward Brush strokes leading me Streaks of yellow and red Blend into my painted life Mixing truth and fear Fading red to pink White changes the course in route Splashing a new dream Jewels of purple chance Offer this painting a home Protected from lies Lies that carry hurt Smearing on unwanted black Changing what began Drowning the past deep I start again surrounded Floating my dreams awake
