hello Ty...my name is Story, as in story of my life. I am a newfoundland and was a grand show dog in my younger years. I am now 14 years old and my mind doesnt work as well as it use to. Sometimes I get lost on my own home and sometimes I am very frightened when my missus leaves me for awhile. (hangs head) she is my world, for I can barely see now. I am so old for a big dog. If I ever thought she would be gone forever I would not know what to do, so that is why I am incredibly anxious when she leaves. (picks head up) we have a one eyed rocking limping kitty named Mr Smitty who lives with us. He is a good house mate for he cleans up after himself and doesnt take my toys. Every once in awhile my Missus takes in a stray or someone who needs a respite home before they go onto their forever missus or mister. She doesnt do it too often for it tires me out. I know I am loved by her. Sometimes I will come up by her couch and move her coffee table out of the way just so we can cuddle. I lived in a cement kennel all my life until she came to get me. Now I have a home. Welcome and it was very nice of you to start this thread so we can share this world our misters and missuses love so much!
