It's my understanding that he's got a lot of enemies on city council, so we can only hope that he's hated enough that none of the stupid shit he wants to do (I LOVE THE STREETCARS! WHY is he being such a dick about them?) gets done.
I do think that his getting elected is, like, symptomatic of shockwaves of right-wing supercrazy coming on up from the US. That shit's contagious, kids.
