Made it home before the ice hit. I had to get out and get my Turkey before the storm came. I got a 20 pounder this year cuz I'm having 10 people over for Thanksgiving day. It's been a few years since I've entertained on Turkey day. I really wanted to be surrounded by my closest friends this year. It's going to be a potluck and almost everyone is a wonderful cook in their own right. It should be really good. Hope you all are able to celebrate and be surrounded by those you love.

Well, I'm new here, although I do recognize some names on the site. I'm waaaaay over 50.....will be 62 in Jan. I like the idea of having something for us older folks. Thanks!

Hi - I'm the same age as you - will be 63 next month. I don't think I ever feel *old* (unless I get really sick). Mostly I just feel blessed.

we had some freezing rain and hail overnight, yet it's not too big of a mess out there this morning because it is soo mild out, which is odd this time of year..

hard to believe we're so close to Christmas already!

Hey,I use to live in Clover,Or. many years ago. I left there and came back to N.Y. In some ways I wish I never left there.

The winters there are dryer then N.Y.

I spent last fall at Cape Kiwanda. I love the coast but had some bad winter storms. I was a camp ground host and the RV was rockin & rollin in those high winds (and not for the right reason). Even had a tornado. Clover seems like a sweet little town but I couldn't find any other Lesbians anywhere on the coast. (LOL)

I have been told ther are some of us in the Stat of Washenton. I miss Or. I just loved it there. Ben at Ben,Or shopping. Clover is just a small town. Do you remmber the story about a troubled boy living in a falster home. He came home from school and killed the husbend and wife then drove to a restrunt or bar and said he just shot them. Well,My sister and I knew the knew them, very sad story. I use to go to the Grizzly bare and eat pizza. LOL not for the right reason. cute
