Confessions Are Good For The Soul

I confess after spending $25 for a pedicure, I saw what appeared to be a homeless person attempting to shelter from the cold.

I confess I drove on by thinking there was nothing I could do.

I confess later in my warm house while making brownies, boiling eggs and cutting up veggies, I realized I could have stopped at the drug store and purchased this person a blanket.

I confess my honey and I searched the area I originally saw this person several hours before and couldn't find him/her.

I confess I am going to buy blankets and keep them in my trunk just for this situation.

I confess my heart is heavy because I didn't do what I could to help.
