Am lighting a candle for myself today.

Doc found a lump of some sort in the area of the left side of the thyroid gland. Problem is, I had most of my gland removed in 1986 due to a goiter.
Nothing should be in that area! I have an ultrasound today. And yes, I am nervous.

Folks: if you have your health, YOU HAVE EVERYTHING! Nothing else really matters.

For an end to all wars. For the unemployed/underemployed. For the single parents raising children. For animals, nature, pets, and our environment. For those who are grieving. Peace be with you all.

i burn incense for all in japan
for the workers who rotate through the fukushima daiiachi nuclear power facilities
for all those who still search for their missing loved ones
for all affected by not only the earthquake and tsunami
but now also facing radiation contamination
for all those who suffer
for the entire ountry
as the people try to rebuild their lives
or indeed just to survive
may the Heavens bless them
and all come to their aid
