What did you accomplish today?

Before noon on a Sunday...

• woke up at 7:17 ...so much for sleeping in this weekend *sigh*
• dragged the ladder over to the side of the house
• up and down the ladder about 20 times, hanging shade fabric so that it keeps the hot morning sun out of the boys' bedroom windows
• made coffee and had a couple cups out on the patio
• took cushion covers off the couch and laundered them
• planted a firecracker plant, a shrimp plant, something else I can't remember the name of, and two banana trees
• dug up the smaller bouganvillia (how do you spell that anyway?) and re-planted it in a better spot
• pulled thorns out of my hand
• put the soaker hose down...stuff is droopy from the heat and no rain for a bit too long
• jumped in the pool and splashed around with Rooster
• invented "noodle boarding" in the pool...and raced him a couple laps (I won)
• showered and dressed
• made grilled cheese sandwiches for Scoote and me
• tugged and pulled the dry cushion covers back onto the couch
• broke a thumbnail halfway down my thumb (ouch) and made a small tear in fabric....grrrrrr
• febreezed
• remembered to take morning meds....finally...ugh

Now resting, having a Cream soda (sinful and not on the diabetic diet...but what the hell) and deciding if I'm up to enforcing the "everyone cleans for an hour" rule today or just saying heck with it...
