ok being southern I know this will surprise everyone, but even as early in the summer as it is already....I confess I HATE humidity! It's only like in the 80's here this week but the humidity is killer. It's about 71 degrees right now and I'm sweating like a mule.

I must confess,
I had a wonderful day hanging out with Violaine. I loved it when she stopped to check on this guy who was walking down the street with his puppy on his shoulder. I handed her my bottled water to give to the guy just in case he didn't have any water available. It was over 95 degrees today in Orlando. I loved it when I went to the auto shop with her, that a guy who works there tried talking to the two of us like we were idiots. The guy tried to say there was nothing wrong with her car, right after her car stalled in front of mine and I almost hit her. How they girl who works there took a claw hammer to one of the cars that the shop owned and hit the car with it, after someone pulled her wig off. Zimmy

i confess
..i bought a small watermelon yesterday .. i ate all but 2 very small pieces of it ..the roasted peanuts turned out great ..ive eaten over half of them as well ..my thoughts go out to all those affected by the storms and tornadoes ..the diner i cooked tonight was pretty damn good |

I must confess,
That the job interview for Lane Bryant was unique, I have never participated in a group interview before. I came home to find that the interview for BestBuy was scheduled on the wrong day and had to have it rescheduled for next Monday. Then I got a call from CVS Pharmacy and the manager asked me to come in lastnight at 6pm. I got there an hour early and the manager interviewed me right away. She kept saying how much she liked the fact that I had all of my retail experience and how she wouldn't have to train me a lot. I still have another interview on Friday and then one next Monday. Waking up to an email from the Campus President of DeVry, asking me if I would like to come in and pick up a letter of recommendation from him, or have his assistant email it to me...This made my day and I am glad that I graduated from a small private college...So now, I have four letters of recommendations from DeVry and I feel they are going to tell the truth more than my previous managers... I confess I never turn the AC on until about July........I did last year for Sweet and will again this year, but as a rule for me unless my May Grass allergies get bad enough to get my asthma going I don't turn it on until July. Keep in mind I work in an non AC environment and .....
Also confess that in summer I wear long sleeves out to eat cuz it is sooooo cold in restaurants

I confess I just spent the last few hours painting.
I further confess I wish there were words for the feeling that settles in after I've painted...I suppose one could liken it to an afterglow of sorts. It sucks not having a/c in my car, but I am used to it. I am going to have a heckuva summer this year. I am not used to the humidity that we have here in Orlando and my hair is frizzing like a mad hatter....What I wouldn't give to be able to live back on the East Coast again... Zimmy Quote:
