I was in the gym shooting baskets after my strength training workout this morning. A younger gentlemen approached me and asked if I wanted to play a game of horse (I said "Sure") The guy was defeated within 15 minutes and he exited the gym (LOL)

There in the stack of papers brought back from the Courthouse this afternoon was the document the Deputy Clerk swore i did not send over for filing yesterday...she'll see it when she goes to put the duplicate i had to file early this morning to protect our client's case...

I got to work today with My parents at their floral shop, getting ready for Pride this weekend. Every year in Winnipeg's Pride, a bunch of businesses are under a big tent either promoting things within the GLBTQ community or selling their products. My parents have these special flowers, called rainbow roses, which are roses from Equador where every individual petal is injected with a special dye that makes the roses rainbow colors! They will be selling them at Pride this year, individual flowers as well as corsages and boutonnaires ............. these flowers are beautiful and absolutely perfect for Pride :-)

Money and the 4th of July
I spoke to my client and negotiate a new pay agreement for my services on Monday, Today she responded and to my surprise she agreed. I was also surprised that she was willing to start this week and pay it today, not next Friday as I had proposed.
I will be enjoying the 4th of July with a special freind. Life is Good !

Going for a 16 mile bike ride with Miss Pinky this morning before it got blazing hot. I was disciplined enough to stay in my target heart rate zone and not HAMMER it like someone was chasing me! The greenway was beautiful, Miss Pinky is the BEST companion in the world and I wonder why I ever get off of my bike; I love it THAT much! Now it's time for lunch and a matinee movie date to see X-Men: First Class on the BIG SCREEN!!

Coming back into the exam room with 14 pound mad orange tabby in the carrier, the Vet said "He's in good shape for his age..."
I winced as my 18 year old kitty glared at me. I took Peaches Boi to get his vacinations. He gave a urine specimen. He had his blood pressure monitored. His kidney function is that of an 18 year old cat, and he has been on Kidney food for a year. He now has high blood pressure.  Vet called said his lab work is "Perfect".. I said "For his age". He said, "For any age.", and laughed.  This is you took me to the Vet, now feeeed me.
