1. When was 9 my younger brother & I had a fight and I kicked him in the shin, fracturing one toe and spraining 4. My mother was mortified trying to explain this to the ER MD.

2. My other brother used my Beetles 45 RPM records as frisbees when I was 13 and I had to kick his ass too.

3. I can cut both human hair and my dog (went to cosmetology school for a few months before changing to nursing school).

4. I saw Gone With the Wind during a re-issue around age 8, and cried so hard during the "I'll never be hungry again as God is my witness", speech by Scarlett, that I disturbed other patrons & the usher asked my mom to take me out until I stopped crying.

5. I am very sensitive and do not at all have a thick hide, though I can pull off pretending I do, fairly well.

If someone drives by my house and honks their horn, I will stop what I am doing to wave at the mysterious driver even though they cannot see me. It's a force of habit.

I do not like sweet iced tea, which is near blasphemous being here in the south.

Someone cut in front of me in line at the dollar store today and I was shocked. It was the first non-nice and discourteous behavior that I have seen since I moved here two weeks ago. I stood there in shock for an indeterminate amount of time.

This accent is trying to weasel it's way into my Upper Midwesterner ways.

I am trying to decide between a foodsaver, bread machine, a indoor grill and a Bose iPhone docking station to listen to my tunes. I'll probably break down and get the foodsaver first. Baby doesn't like freezerburn.

I'm slowly working my way through every PBS special the county library has

I prefer to date women younger than myself

I think about dying a lot (because of health issues I've had) and have a cemetery plot, headstone and funds for my funeral

I can forgive someone's criticism of my musical taste if they can do so while slinging the word "nebbish."
Despite not owning a microwave, I still feel *complete* as a human.
I take suggestions.

I am usually on the look out for decent companions for some of our single friends and family.
I would love to start painting, but never seem to take the time. I own this.

I love black licorice, but not black jelly beans. Yes, there is a difference.
I have purchased 2 notebooks to start writing to Cruel while she's out on the road. Each time she comes home I will swap them out.

I hated the movie Black Swan and the book/movie Eat Pray Love. I am not a chick flick kinda gal...

Every time someone says something about Black Swan I go into a tirade about how ludicrous that movie/character was. Friends and family actually mention it in public places just to get my reaction...witches...lol !!!

I adored Readers Digest until i realized how conservative and religious their company is. I still read it. I just dont adore the company anymore.

I want a bumper sticker that reads: See what you get, you damn Capitalists!

I have a major sugar addiction. I do really well now but like tonight, I ate (I wont tell you how many!) chocolate mint hard candies...loved EVERY single one of them....and had to force myself to stop. Its like crack for me! LOL. So I have to abstain totally from candy or i get carried away.
