I tend not to eat at such venues nowadays but if really pushed or hungry will have chips (that's fat fries) or a freshly roasted pork bun/bap/barmcake. When I was a kid and candy floss (cotton candy) was my favourite.

Oh I SO wish there was a carnival/fair to go to right now after reading this thread! My favorites are:
Corn dogs Soft pretzels with spicy brown mustard Cotton candy Sausage and peppers and my all time fav....zeppoles with LOTS of powdered sugar!
