I've had two poly relationships. They worked for awhile. In the end, I found that poly relationships required more time, energy and emotional processing than I could manage.
Though I genuinely loved the people involved, I was never "in love" with any of them. When I'm "in-love" with a woman, I'm wired for monogamy. For me, monogamy represents a kind of intimacy that allows me to flourish. |
