omelettes? hell i thought they were crepes..imagine how surprised my tastebuds woulda been--and prolly pissed bc they have a bit of an attitude when expecting one thing and getting another.

i started therapy this week,which one day was baaaad the other wasnt so bad,altho a bit uncomfortable when i got a massage. she was doing my lower back and top of my butt--which was wierd bc i could feel her hans going inside the top of my shorts to reach my butt,but i guess thats better than having to drop them completely (maybe i shoulda posted that elsewhere! lol

i even get to work tonight...i make the schedule and could work a whole lot more,but with my back as weak and bad as it is i dunno if i would be up to it---plus it would mean taking hrs away fromother employees and i dont wanna do that sooooooo

Internal alarm clock woke me up at 7 a.m. (on a Sunday....ugh), so I went out early, adjusted the pool chemicals, swept the steps and sides, and then came in to put the coffee pot on.

Now I'm watching Yard Crashers...and getting wayyyy too many ideas for the yard.

I am trying to attend the Reunion in October. I have to get the time off from work and buy my plane ticket..I am really excited and I am hoping I can attend.

Doing well...how about you?

I hope you get to go to Reunion! It is most likely a "no go" for me this year. My mother is wanting to come for a week or so in early October, working the schedule around her chemo, so managing both would be too much of a challenge.....but, first things first, right?

I promised Scoote sausage gravy and biscuits for breakfast (her favorite)...so not so healthy for us today...but yummy!

Good morning everyone

Coffee is on, and I thought I'd bring us something healthy today...



I was so busy the last couple days dealing with plumbing issues and work stuff that I was completely , but am feeling a bit more back to normal today. Went outside to find the pool cloudy again ( %^#$@@*&^ algae growth in hot weather)....my fault because I slacked off on the cholorination out of sheer laziness about getting to the store for supplies. Luckily Scoote brought some home last night, so we can get back to our clear, sparkly water.

Also found her "special kitty" walking along the top of fence needing rescue again....but couldn't find a hole, so no idea how she got up there.

We have a weird man coming to deliver a recliner this morning for Scoote....got it at a yard sale....pretty blond leather rocking recliner in very nice shape....$50 and they'll deliver it, so I'm not going to complain too much. (Although he's one of those odd, too chatty, overly friendly to strangers, stand slightly too close kind of people). I think it'll be nice in our living room, and will be more supportive to her back than the couch is.

I'm working away on my projects....making some headway. Hope you all have a great day!

Good Morning Everyone,

I to have been going bonkers the last few days. I had my initial interview for my transfer to another department on Monday and then had my second interview yesterday. I am now headed to my panel interview early next week, so I can escape the madness of my current department. My supervisor threatened to fire me on Monday, because of a post I put on Facebook. So now, I am going to be deleting my current account and creating a new one; only this time around none of my old friends that I grew up with, will be on it. Apparently, she is the kind of manager that doesn't like when you speak up and say something about the whole let's treat each other like shit mentality some of the girls are doing. Little does my manager know, that I am going to typing everything up today and contacting HR. I was talking to a friend the other night on the phone and told hym what was going on. These girls think it is ok to crack jokes against gay people and when I told them I was gay, they went and started making jokes about me and this supervisor who is a gay man. The sad thing about all of it, is that my manager was in there listening to them say these jokes.

I am leaving virgin mimosas for us to enjoy with the delicious breakfast Jo Jo has made!
