HOME AT LAST
A lonely ghost I once existed in this house of self You entered into my dwelling of pain and sorrow Walking through these hallowed halls You managed to revive the essence of love within me Tidy and neat lose ends are beginning to strengthen Memories of the past are stored away Allowing only for the new to be showcased Sadness so tenderly has been swept out To offer a pristine foundation of loving support Windows and mirrors wiped clean of hurt Shining light and reflection of the love we share The empty shelves dusted clean of loneliness To display new masterpieces of love for each other This shell of a heart is filling again With the beauty of you and I Comfort yourself deep inside me You are finally home This was written many many years ago... but it's still one of my faves. |

PASSION OF MY ART
Standing in the center of a room Alone in a world I choose to call my own Taking in a deep breath as I feel my surroundings Fading into the still of the corners of my mind... I begin moving from one direction to another From one position to the next My hands and feet in perfect harmony With my breath as I inhale and exhale... Imagining the essence of my enemies Crumbling and falling before me with each Strike and kick that I execute... My hear begins to race as the excitement level rises Now becoming aware of the intense expressions That I portray upon my face... Sounds begin to fill my ears as I hear Imaginary opponents discharge their breath Beneath the weight of my attack... I release my own yells on every finishing move From deep within my indomitable inner strength To wake the silence of an otherwise quiet room... Finally in the completion of this passionate performance Drenched with sweat and totally exhausted I now find myself once again in the center of the room Completely satisfied with what I have achieved... For me this is yet another victory another defeat Another advancement in the challenge of my dream As I continue to strive for perfection and mastery In a love that can never be perfected or mastered... I am content and pleased with my performance Fot what I have displayed is not what some call A form or kata but what I like to think of as being My art my love my poetry in motion... |

Times within one's life A soul eases into the light And aids in the healing Of a saddened spirit... That soul is stilled, yet playful Compassionate, yet light-hearted Quiet, yet well versed And in the vast of it all... Simply there... Meeting a soul such as this Is an honor and a blessing For with their presences comes Wisdom, respect, and support... A soul of this caliber Glows through the light Guides through the darkness And never leaves one behind... Simply said... Thank you for listening Thank you for caring And thank you for your guidance... Not that our work is done Nor that our paths lead elsewhere But more that a "thank you" is in order... Shattered images lurking in the still of my mind Cold and deep are the thoughts I hear the words repeating The feeling remains the same and yet so completely different I struggle within to find evenness It’s painful to experience An internal struggle A battle of sorts Knowing what is wanted yet knowing it is out of reach For good and possibly forever Hardened heart so viciously fighting to stay cold Release the burdens Allow for openness Cater to the wits of the mind from a different perspective What do you possibly have to lose |

I wandered far from who I was My heart a tattered shred I never thought to look again I felt hurt and pain from the games Done with whatever made me ache Tears drained no more No more sorrow to show No more worries to carry I would walk it alone Dreams of love began to fade The river was drying out I had completely given up When I stopped looking Love stood before me In the beauty of her image She has shared with me And has unmasked my love It belongs to her now My heart |

CRASH
Night is deep and hearts are racing The sky shoots glimmering light upon them Air cool yet bodies remain heated Breathe in deep and release the ambitions Desire as hands glide along the hollows of her curves Raised breasts with raspy moans of pleasure She sinks into the touch combined with passion and lust Swaying to the feel of uncontrollable pleasure Whispered words of deep adoration Remind her of the things to come Fierce love ignited as the night ensues a bonding of love Freed from the world, they are lost and alone together Hours pass for what seems to be mere minutes Restful slumber encompasses their tangled bodies I love you whispered softly as they drift away The night yields to the morning light They sleep easy |
