I don't like texting, but, then again, I was a fuddy-duddy about email, too.

It's hard for me to stop by my ex-husband's house when my kids are there. They take the privileges for granted and seem so spoiled. Or, maybe I'm jealous that I can't give them everything that they (and I) want. Tonight, they're roughing it with me. Fish stew and early to bed!

I can imagine living in some type of co-housing community with other lesbians in the future. With the state of the economy and my own modest resources, I can't think of another way to live well and ensure that my needs are met as I get older.
