In a new profile in the New York Times, The Big Bang Theory star is matter-of-factly described "gay and in a 10-year relationship."
Jim Parsons never directly addresses his sexuality or elaborates on the remark in the profile, and his rep had no additional comment when reached. The Times profile couches its revelation in the context of the actor's most recent Broadway role as Tommy Boatwright in Larry Kramer's powerful play, The Normal Heart, about gay men dying of AIDS in New York in the '80s.
