The Boy got dress shirts. You know the kind they measure your neck and arm length, not just picked by some size. It was nice to see him in a shirt that fits him perfect. Even in the Tall sizes, the sleeves are usually too short for him. He looked really nice.

All the fun pride events I am not at...
I enjoy pride and the parade is a hoot. A year ago Dani and I were cheering in Portland OR at the parade and getting ready to leave home behind for NH. How life changes in the span of a year is amazing. This makes me smile deeply. I look over my shoulder and I see general sprout drawing, hym napping in hys chair. We just spent the day window shopping, snacking, playing at the park and choosing rings that say forever is together. Each moment together we are choosing to build family and relationship. Not marry but build on our commitment. Not move in but build our family in our own time. Another year will go by and when I look over my shoulder I'll smile again. |
